Here you can see our view to the south east from the top of a hill overlooking our town Dogern, across the river Rhine into Switzerland and one of their few nuclear power plants lined up along their northern border, to take advantage of the river's water for cooling. The other view is to the south west. Check out the pink church. We live four houses to the west of the church. Its bells ring every quarter hour, but I must already have gotten used to it, since it doesn't wake me up at night anymore.
Here is another picture of the village from up higher. On the right is an old building that used to be a mill, built at the northern entrance to town.
